What is TASMU Digital Valley?
The Ministry of Communications and Information Technology (MCIT) established Tasmu Digital Valley as an innovation cluster where different sectors can come together to help achieve the vision of Smart Qatar. Tasmu Digital Valley is a platform that connects entrepreneurs, startups, investors, academics, researchers, students, multinational corporations, and institutions with the common goal of innovating new digital solutions.
Tasmu Digital Valley provides benefits to both our members and strategic partners. Whether it's helping guide our members on their digital odyssey or allowing our partners to strategically leverage the deeper capability of the Digital Valley, our services are designed to further enrich the digital ecosystem and contribute to the betterment of all stakeholders.
Tasmu Digital Valley Role
The Digital Valley builds on existing progress and is driving towards sustainable economic growth in 4 key areas:

Orchestrates the local digital ecosystem effort in line with Tasmu Strategy -
Advocate Qatar’s digital and innovation ecosystem regionally and globally -
Provide tangible services to the registered members of Tasmu Digital Valley -
Act as the main supply engine for the Tasmu Program
Our Mission
The Digital Valley’s mission is to promote and grow an innovative and vibrant digital ecosystem, to enable the realization of a digital economy and a smart future. The Digital Valley aims to act as a platform that will bring digital industry players together, offer resources and support, and promote investments and the growth of the industry.
Our Vision
The Digital Valley’s vision is to drive the information and communication technology supply chain in Qatar and co-create an ecosystem of a digital hub in Qatar. This platform aims to facilitate the establishment of digital startups from ideation to commercialization, to foster digital investment within Qatar, and to become the window through which a digital Qatar is viewed to facilitate the long term growth and viability of the sector.
In line with this vision, the Digital Valley will provide key services to partners and members aimed at:
- Promoting an innovation agenda to support the path to commercialization
- Facilitating business setup for new companies and incubation for startups
- Attracting multinational digital companies to set up operations in Qatar
- Brokering faster procurement pathways by matching demand with supply
- Fostering collaboration across our network of members and partners
- Informing policy making affecting the digital sector
