MCIT in collaboration with Enterprise Singapore is organizing an informational Webinar on the Singapore Startup ecosystem and opportunities for Global startups to participate at SLINGSHOT: Asia’s leading Global startup competition.
- Enterprise Singapore is the government agency under the Ministry of Trade and Industry in Singapore, championing enterprise development, by building capabilities, fostering innovation and promote internationalization. Enterprise Singapore’s mandate is also to support the growth of Singapore as a hub for global trading and startups. As the national standards and accreditation body, Enterprise Singapore continue to build trust in Singapore’s products and services through quality and standards.
- Enterprise Singapore is the organizer or the Singapore Week of Innovation and Technology (SWITCH) which will take place from 31st of October to 2nd of November in Singapore.
- SLINGSHOT is the Asia’s leading GLOBAL startup competition taking place during SWITCH.
Deadline for applications close on 31st of July!
The Top 50 Global Startups will have the chance to win:
- A sponsored trip to Singapore to participate in physical immersion programme for 1 founder
- Compete at SLINGSHOT Domain Finals, held as part of SWITCH
- Eligibility for EntrePass, the working visa for foreign entrepreneurs in Singapore [International applicants only]
The Top 10 Global Startups will win:
- S$50,000 Startup SG Grant Prize
The Top 3 Winners prizes will win:
- Grand winner: $S200,000 Startup SG Grant Prize and 18 months’ rent-free space at LaunchPad
- 1st Runner-up: S$150,000 Startup SG Grant Prize and 12 month’s rent-free space at LaunchPad
- 2nd Runner-up: S$100,000 Startup SG Grant Prize and 6 month’s rent-free space at LaunchPad

TASMU Digital Valley (TDV), Ministry of Communications and Information Technology (MCIT) in partnership with Investment Promotion Agency (IPA Qatar) and Berlin Partner, is pleased to invite you to attend virtual investment event. The event is aimed at Berlin startups who would be interested in exploring investment opportunities in Qatar’s technology sector. The event will also give technology startups to connect with local ecosystem including licensing platform, investors, local business partners, among others.
The virtual event will also host a dedicated panel discussion where various industry and investment experts will discuss and share insights on future of Qatar’s technology sector and related opportunities. The panel expert will include Investment Agency of Qatar (IPA Qatar), Qatar Financial Center (QFC), Qatar Science & Technology Park (QSTP), Qatar Development Bank and Ooredoo.
